I found this bus photo from New York City recently on the internet, but unfortunately...I do not recall what the website was.
New York City just like Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston and many other large North American citties, utilized the very popular General Motors Corporation TDH fishbowl windshield "New Look" bus from the 1960's and 70's era.
It was a very popular and stylish model of transit bus, that was introduced in the year of 1959. It ruled the streets of many city transit company routes for several years. Some have even made it to museum preservation in recent years.
Welcome to my rail fan page! Here you'll find information and pictures of railroad related items from the Chicagoland area, Wisconsin and Indiana. Enjoy your stay. All Aboard!
