West Towns Bus Company # 776. A 1950 General motors transit bus. The Midwest transit Bus museum. Cresthill Illinois. September 2000.

Aside from My obvious "Railfan Interests", I am also an avid "Bus Enthusiast" as well.

From 2000 to 2002, I was a member of The Midwest Transit Bus Museum in southwest suburban Cresthill Illinois near Joliet.

One of My personal favorites amongst the collection of historic North American transit buses, was West Towns Bus Company # 776.

This bus, was built in 1950 by General Motors. West Towns Bus Company # 776 is also operable, and was used occasionally in parades around the greater Chicagoland area.
