I found this photo at My Link page Dave's Electric Railroads, located to the right of Your computer screen at www.davesrailpix.com

The Philadelphia Suburban Transit Company, was an interurban railroad that operated out of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, that has stood the test of time, and operated well past the life expectency of any North American interurban railroad.

This photo from the Joe Testagrosse collection, was taken in 1970.

The Philadelphia Suburban Transit interurban lines today, are operated by Philadelphia's SoutheastPennsylvania Transit Authority today (SEPTA) using modern light rail trolley cars. Many pieces of the fomer Philadelphia Suburban Transit Company interurban cars, are preserved and operated at a few trolley museums in the eastern United States.
