I took this photograph last week Thursday night, in west suburban Berwyn Illinois.
Although the Cermak Plaza Shopping Center located at the southeast corner of South Harlem Avenue and West Cermak Road has been remodeled and reconfigured a number of times over the years, it was a pleasant surprise to see that the old 1950's and 60's era roadside neon sign along West Cermak Road, had been restored recently to it's former glory.
Although new modern signs are already in place along the north and west entrances, it is a pleasure to know that the old signs are going to be kept on the property.
