Hi everyone!

This is Eddie K, your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

I grew up on the near southwest side of Chicago during the 1960's, 70's and 80's.

Here is a picture of Me taken way back in April of 1986 in my old neighborhood. Here I am, a then 24 year old future host and photographer of Eddie's Railfan Page, posing by the Burger King fast food restaurant sign at the southwest corner of South Kedzie Avenue and West 27th Street in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood.

During the 1960's and in to the mid 1970's..believe it or not, this was actually a neighborhood of Polish etnicity, along with other eastern European people of Czech, and Yugoslavian heritage.

Today little village is a neighborhood of Hispanic heritage.
