I took this photograph at work one day during my lunch break, back in November of 2011.
A Union Pacific Railroad track maintenance crew, is lowering the Hi rail wheels on this heavy freightliner maintenance truck, and will soon begin track inspections and repairs along the former Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad "Freight only" bypass line in Des Plaines Illinois.
This photograph was taken at the Wolf Road railroad crossing, adjacent to West Park.
