A late 1950's era Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad local freight train crossing the Missisippi River.

I took this photograph last night, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers
H.O Scale Model Railroad Club in Oak Park Illinois.

In a Midwest scene right out of the late 1950's, My Bachman model of an
American Locomotive Company (Alco) model S 4 yard switcher diesel -
electric locomotive decorated in 1950's era Santa Fe colors, pulls a train
of period freight cars across the Missisippi River lift bridge on the club layout.

Fellow club member Hal, had just assembled and added that bridge operators building on top of the bridge recently. All the hard work and dedication on behalf of my fellow club members, has helped to make this scene very believable.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
