Eastbound Chicago and Northwestern railroad freight train. Union Illinois. September 1984.

This photograph was taken while visiting the Illinois Railway Museum in Union Illinois. The Chicago and Northwestern railroads line to Belvidere Illinois (Rockford Area.) runs alongside the Museum property. This branchline freight train is known as the "Belvidere turn". In 1998,
Union Pacific railroad Merged with, and Bought out the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad.
