No, this is not a night time photograph, but rather one taken late in the day during a torrential thunderstorm. We are looking west along the north platform area of the west suburban Riverside Illinois Metra commuter rail station. The weather on this mid September afternoon in Chicagoland, was inclement with heavy rains, lightning strikes, and flood conditions. There was thunder at the time of this photograph, as a very heavy and severe downpour was about to let loose and soak this photographer.
