Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad.

One of My favorite Chicago railroads, is the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad. For many years, the IHB looked like a 1950's era railroad, long after the 1950's.

I used to enjoy seeing those IHB black and white New York Central Railroad flavored EMD first generation SW and NW series yard switchers, rolling around in to the 1980's. It was a rea; historic "Blast from the past" for Myself, and several other Chicago area railfans.

This photo wa taken on location, in south suburban Blue Island Illinois way back in 1975.
