GM&O RS1 at Elmhurst Model Railroad

I found this video from the Elmhurst Model Railroad Club on You Tube this morning.

As a member of a model railroad club Myself, I found this video especially appealing, as I also model the early 1970's era Illinois Central Gulf Railroad to some small extent.

The Illinois Central Gulf, was created from the August 10th, 1972 merger of the Illinois Central, and the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio railroads. Scenes like this with mixed equipment from the two predecessor railroads, were common during the company's first few years in Chicago and across the midwest.
