I took this photograph, way back in December of 1988.
A Grand Trunk Western Railroad freight train, has just departed from the nearby Belt Railway of Chicago Clearing Yard facility near Midway Airport.
This train is viewed entering on to the southbound GTW interchange connection at Hayford Junction, departing Belt Railway of Chicago tracks.
