American freight and passenger trains from past historic and today's modern eras, can be seen and enjoyed at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club in Oak Park Illinois.
My short 1950's era Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad switching local, is viewed here on the club layout.
The prototype Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad, painted their diesel switcher locomotives in this paint scheme from 1950 to 1960. The A,T & S,F cabooses wore this plain oxide brown / box car red color scheme until 1966.
Thanks.
