Digital Live Sound Video: 1972 early merger era Illinois Central Gulf switching local passing the factories.

I photographed this digital live sound video, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club in Oak Park Illinois.

The Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, was created from the August 10th 1972 merger of the Illinois Central, and the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Railroads. I like the early ICG trains that I had seen as a kid growing up on the near southwest side of Chicago back in those days, and now I model and operate them in H.O Scale.

Seen here is my Life Like Proto 2000 Illinois Central EMD SW 9 yard switcher in pre 1967 I.C colors and markings, pulling a circa 1972 -1973 early merger era ICG switching local.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
