Wintertime in Chicago's Garfield Ridge neighborhood. Chicago Illinois. Sunday, February 2nd, 2014.

Hi everyone!
This is Eddie K, your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

Although Chicago's winter season of 2014 has been a difficult one so far, there are still some signs of hope to be found around the windy city wherever you may find them.

I took this photograph yesterday, on South Neva Avenue in Chicago's Garfield Ridge neighborhood.

Although the outside temperatures were in the teens and there was more than enough heavy snow accumulation to go around...apparently the branches on this local neighborhood tree are also "Sick of winter" already as well.

With a faint trace of red buds on the branches just anxious to bloom in early February...who knows? Maybe there just might be an early Spring for Chicago in 2014.

"We all hope so!"

Thanks.
Eddie K.
