Interior view of the Deerfield Illinois Metra commuter rail station. Tuesday night, October 19th, 2010.

I took this photo after work last night.

The Metra commuter rail station in north suburban Deerfield Illinois, is a classic passenger train station from the steam era that is alive and well today.

This depot originally served passenger trains from the Milwaukee Road Railroad. Today it serves local Metra commuter trains enroute to and from Fox Lake Illinois over the Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road northline.
