Road construction paving activity on Waukegan Road. Morton Grove Illinois. Tuesday, October 5th, 2010.





I took this photo last week Tuesday, in north suburban Morton Grove Illinois.

I was driving southbound on Waukegan Road, and ran in to a heavy traffic jam due to heavy road construction and blacktopping activity on Waukegan Road. The intersection at Golf Road shown here, has been especially brutal on ones driving nerves for the past several months.

The good news is, that much work has been acomplished, and that more than two thirds of the asphalt has been laid down by the paving crews of the Plote Pacing Company. The job is almost finished.

For now...It is still a traffic nightmare until further notice.
