I took this photograph way back in December of 1986.

We are at the intersection of South Pulaski Road and West 111th Street in Chicago's Mount Greenwood neighborhood .

A southbound Chicago Transit Authority Rt # 53A / South Pulaski bus, is viewed preparing to turn east on to West 111th Street, and head to the nearby terminal on West 111th Street and South Springfield Avenue at the end of the line .

During this time, the CTA had assigned several 1970's era General Motors TDH Series fishbowl windshield buses to the Rt # 53A / South Pulaski bus route. The CTA retired these buses in 1996.
