I took this photograph during the final week of operation at the former Grand Trunk Western Railroad's Elsdon Yard facility on West 51st Street in Chicago Illinois, way back in October of 1983.

A northbound Grand Trunk Western auto rack train, is viewed slowly approaching the Elsdon Yard site, which was being cleared of any remaining rail cars on this day.
