Mechanical failure at the September 1982 Member's Weekend event. The Illinois Railway Museum.

I took this photograph during the September 1982 Members Weekend event, at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union Illinois. www.irm.org

Recently acquired Milwaukee Road FM / Fairbanks Morse Company model H 10 44 hi hood yard switcher # 760, is demonstrating the Illinois Railway Museum's version of the AAA Chicago Motor Club in the case of one of the trains having a mechanical failure.

Slightly out of view behind locomotive # 760, is Tuskegee Railroad Baldwin 2-6-2 steam locomotive # 101 and train. Tuskegee Railroad # 101's air braks have somehow became "Stuck", and Milwaukee Road # 760 is now doubling as a makeshift railroad "Tow Truck", pulling the disabled steam train to the museum's steam shop on short notice..
