Good, tasty, hearty and sometimes "Greasy" food is where you find it.
One of my favorite little roadside diner restaurants I used to enjoy eating at in Chicago's western suburbs, was a little place on Ogden Avenue in the village of Lyons Illinois known as Darcy lynn's Snack Shop.
This place had plenty of homestyle and very cost effective selections on their menu. My personal favorite was their biscuits and gravy on the breakfast menu. Yum!
I took a ride past here two weeks ago, and sadly, this place had closed recently. It is now and empty storefront. Awwww.
Oh well. Time to find a new place for biscuits and gravy, homemade stew, and really good coffee.
