Westbound Metra commuter train approaching the Riverside Illinois USA train station. October 1998.

A very warm and colorfull October Sunday afternoon in 1998, was enjoyed by Me on location in West suburban Riverside Illinois. On this lovely and peacefull Sunday afternoon, a westbound Metra commuter train local is seen pulling into the Riverside Illinois Metra station for a scheduled station stop. After several upcoming stops in Brookfield -La Grange -Western Springs - Hindsdale -Clarendon Hills -Westmont -Downers Grove -Lisle and other far west suburban stops, the train will arrive in Aurora Illinois at the end of the commuter line. This line is the former 3 track Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad mainline, Wich later became the Burlington Northern Railroad, and by the time of this late 1990's photo, The BNSF Railway. This happened after the 1995 merger of the Santa Fe and Burlington Northern.
