I took this now historic photograph, way back in December of 1985.

We are on location at the Chicago Transit Authority bus terminal on South Kedzie Avenue and West 63rd Place, in Chicago's Marquette Park neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago.

The bus to the left, is a 1985 M.A.N 40 foot transit bus manufactured in the nation formerly known as West Germany. This bus is assigned to the northbound Rt # 52 Kedzie / California bus line.

The bus to the right is a 1983 Flyer of Canada 40 foot transit bus, assigned to the southbound CTA Rt # 52A / South Kedzie bus line.
