I photographed this digital live sound video, just east of the crosstracks and manned ex Milwaukee Road interlocking tower at Rondout Junction. With the sound of a nearby construction crews jackhammers at work in the background, a southbound Metra commuter train enroute to Chicago Union Station from Fox Lake Illinois clatters across the Canadian National ex Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railroad crosstrack.
Rondout Illinois, is located between Libertyville and Lake Forest Illinois.
