I took this photo one day after work, back in March of 2008.
It is late afternoon at the north entrance to the Belt Railway of Chicago Clearing Yard on South Central Avenue, located in southwest suburban Bedford Park Illinois.
A Belt Railway of Chicago EMD yard switcher, is viewed spotting cars on one of the many lineside industrial spur sidings, on the bypass branchline that skirts the north perimeter of Clearing Yard.
