Bleeker's Bowl and the Phillip's 66 Village Car Wash on West 95th Street. Evergreen Park Illinois. Early January 1988.

I took this photograph, way back in early January of 1988.

It was a cold but sunny winter Sunday afternoon in the greater Chicagoland area, with not a whole much of a lot to do.

Rather than be "Bored" by the cold winter season, I hopped aboard the Chicago Transit Authority Rt # 52A / South Kedzie bus, and decided to visit the south suburban town of Evergreen Park Illinois with my 35 mm camera.

Seen herer facing east from the north side of West 95th Street, we see the popular Bleeker's Bowl bowling alley, and the adjacent Phillip's 66 Village Car Wash establishments.

Don't mind the dust specks on this photograph. Those technicians at Kodak, really need to go out and clean their photo scanning machines at the Osco Drug Stores once in a while.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
