The twin evergreen trees along the east side of South Kedzie Avenue near West 93rd Street. (Gone.) Evergreen Park Illinois. Early January 1988., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photograph way back in early January of 1988.
Another year end Christmas holiday season has just come to a close a few days ago, and the twin evergreen trees that used to stand along the east side of South Kedzie Avenue near West 93rd Street in south suburban Evergreen Park Illinois, are still decorated for now.
For many years, the south suburban village of Evergreen Park used to decorate these lovely roadside twin evergreen trees, with festive Christmas holiday decorations every year. The village police department always seen to it that a public service safety message was always displayed on the community billboard between the two trees.
Thanks.
Eddie K.
