The BNSF Railway's 3 track Chicago to Aurora Illinois "Racetrack" commuter mainline, is a busy piece of railroad operating 24 / 7 here in the greater Chicagoland area. Sometimes the action isn't constant fast moving freight trains. I spotted this slow moving eastbound BNSF Railway transfer train made up of auto rack cars, slowly approaching the Prairie Avenue railroad crossing in west suburban Brookfield Illinois, on my way home from a friends house one night.
