I took this photo one lovely Autum morning, in October of 2006. The locomotive engineer had just performed the mandatory air brake test as I pushed the shutter button on My camera. After the soft "Hiss" had sounded, the bell was activated and the train slowly pulled out of the Western Avenue station. This is on the former Milwaukee Road Railroad west line to Elgin Illinois.
