Hello everyone!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page.

Over the course of time, I occasionally have the pleasure of being able to meet some of My blogsite readers. This first photo is going out in honer of Renee, who goes by the internet code name "Leomemorial". Leomemorial stands for Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Renee is a devoted fan of Law Enforcement and Police Department subject matter, and I thought that it would be nice to surprise her today.

Renee...This one is for You.

I took this photo on Saturday, August 1st 2009. The occasion was a visiting appearance of preserved Southern Pacific steam locomotive # 4449 from Portland Oregon. Aside from having very nice looking Chevrolet Impala patrol cars, the Franklin Park Police Department did a fine job of maintaining crowd control and making Franklin Park a happy and safe place to visit. They were very dedicated and professional in every aspect. Public safety was definately priority # 1 that day.

Thanks.
Eddie K
