I took this photo in north suburban Deerfield Illinois one morning, in August of 2009. The old Milwaukee Road has long since became a fallen flag railroad many years ago, but their old steam era passenger train station in north suburban Deerfield Illinois is alive and well today serving Metra commuter trains daily. This depot is located on the Metra / Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road "North Line" to Fox Lake Illinois.
