Eastbound CTA Route # 78 Montrose Avenue bus approaching the corner of Lincoln Avenue. Chicago Illinois USA. Early April 2007.

A bus commuter in winter clothing, shakes off the early April Chicago cold wind, as his bus approaches the shelter at north Lincoln Avenue.
The bus is a 1991 model Flxible Metro transit coach.

I did visit this Chicago Neighborhood about 5 years ago. And Boarded and rode on the #78 Montrose Ave. Bus.

I visited a nearby Irish Pub on Lincoln Ave. That was noted for having a excellent Fish Fry. The food was good, but had to leave when a patron started to harass me. But got good info from another local about Okotoberfest in the North & Clybourn area of the City.

FYI, the 6000 series Flxibles buses were put into service in 1995. And not in 1991, as I get my information from anothe Railfan/Tranist Website. And these buses were featured in the CTA Connections program back in April. Being rehabbed in the South Shops on the far South Side. It is the 5300 series Flxibles that were put into service in 1991

I watch the shows from the net. After downloading the entire show into my computer.

How nice it is to get your Chicago fix when living all the way down here in Florida.
