I took this photo after work one evening in early April of 2007. Two diesel locomotives from the former Grand Trunk Western and Illinois Central Railroads, are seen making up unit tank car trains at the CN rawford Yard.
Crawford Yard is located at approximately west 33rd Street between south Pulaski Rd and south Kostner Avenue. This is a short walk east from Hawthorne Junction near the Cicero border at the Chicago city limits.
