Privately owned West Towns Bus Company # 776. The Midwest Transit Bus Museum. Cresthill Illinois USA. September 2000.

This is an old 1950 GM bus that had served Chicago's near western suburbs for many years. The sign for Ridgeland Avenue indicates that this bus worked in Berwyn Illinois, and had also served Lyons -Cicero -Brookfield -La Grange -
Maywood -and Oak Park as well.
Life before "Pace" indeed.

I remember West Towns buses. I used to take it when I was in high school and worked for Ken's Dairy Delight in Berwyn.
