A cautious pedestrian is seen walking northbound along La Grange road by the Metra / Burlington Northern Railroad commuter rail station on a hot summer day. This view has changed greatly in recent years, as the La Grange State Bank at the northeast corner of La Grange Road and West Hillgrove Avenue, was demolished and replaced by a large Border's Books and Music store..
