I took this photo at the Illinois Railway Museum, during the museum's annual Members Weekend Celebration back in September of 1984.Seen here simmering in very bright sunshine, is Frisco Railroad 2-10-0 type Baldwin steam locomotive # 1630. The bright sunshine and the 3 /4 side view, gives a good view of the various plumbing, appliances , valves, gadgets and other details found on modern steam locomotives.
