I took this photo looking north from West Kinzie Street near North Kilbourn Avenue on the west side of the city of Chicago Illinois. Seen here idling between assignments, is a mid 1970's viontage EMD MP-15 Yard Switcher sitting on one of the ready tracks at the Union Pacific RR M-19A Diesel Shop at 400 North Pulaski Road.The tracks in the foreground, are the Union Pacific / Metra West line tracks to Elburn Illinois. In previous years, this was the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad.
