The Burlington Northern Clyde Yard. Cicero Illinois USA. June 1985.

I took this photo from the top of the South Laramie Avenue overpass bridge, in west suburban Cicero Illinois way back in June of the year 1985. This is a view looking northwest toward the intermodal facility. Prior to March 2nd 1970, this was the former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad operating Clyde Yard. In 1995, the C,B & Q predecessor railroad Burlington Northern, merged with the Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe railroad, and became todays BNSF Railway. This is a nostalgic look in Clyde Yard during the Burlington Northern days.
