When the fun ends: Photos of the final days of old Santa's Village amusement park

A close friend of mine named Anthony C, sent this unique video to Me yesterday, and I thought that it would be nice to share it with You.

This is a behind the scenes view of the now abandoned Santa's Village and Racing Rapids amusement park site, in far northwest suburban Dundee Illinois. I actually visited Santa's Vollage a handful of times with My family and a friend of mine named Steve, during the late 1970's, in to the mid 1980's. I last visitd Santa's Village in 1986.

The park had closed in 2006, and this phot slideshow reveels how the place looks like today.
