I took this photo after work one day, back in April of 2007.
We are on location at Hawthorne Junction, facing south along the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks. A southbound Norfolk Southern Railroad heavy transfer freight train, meets a northbound Canadian Pacific transfer train with former Soo Line motive power up front.
