Submarine Tender. Forest Park Illinois USA. January 2011.

I tok this photo recently, in January of 2011.

A popular and inexpensive submarine sandwich shop in the greater Chicagoland area that is worth taking Your appetite to, is the take out restaurant known as Submarine Tender, located in west suburban Forest Park Illinois.

This former Chicken Unlimited take out store from many years ago located at the corner of West Randolph Street and North Des Plaines Avenue, serves up some very hearty and tasty sub sandwiches, as well as Chicken strips, Pizza Puffs and Seasoned French Fries.

Submarine Tender started out many years ago during the early 1980's, at the three way intersection of Diversey, Milwaukee and Kimball Avenues in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.
