Northbound CTA Skokie Swift train. Skokie IL. Feb 2009.
I photographed this digital live sound video, back in February of 2009.
We are facing east in traffic on Oakton Street, in north suburban Skokie Illinois.
With the high pitched electronic "Peanut Whistle" blowing for the Oakton Street railroad crossing in downtown Skokie Illinois, a northbound Chicago Transit Authority "Skokioe Swift" train passes by enroute to the Dempster Street terminal.
Since I had photographed this video, many changes are now taking place at this location. Out of view to the left of this video today, is the construction site of the "New" CTA yellow line Oakton Street station.
Thanks.
Eddie K.
