I found this classic early 1980's era local Chicago area television commercial on
You Tube.
Dispensa's Kiddie Kingdom was a tiny local Chicago area amusement park that existed
from 1975 until the property was sold in 1984.
Dispensa's Kiddie Kingdom, was a tiny seasonal addition to the adjacent Dispensa's Castle Of Toys
retail store along the east side of Illinois Route # 83, just south of West Roosevelt Road / Illinois
Route # 38 in west suburban Oak Brook Terrace illinois, just south of the town of Elmhurst.
This little amusement park with their portable carnival style rides, concession stands and fun
arcade games, resembled little more than a traveling carnival in an asphalt parking lot.
Dispensa's Kiddie Kingdom will be one of the many local seasonal family owned amusement
parks that will be discussed on Saturday, January 19th from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, at the popular
Chicago Public Library's Clearing Branch. 6423 West 63rd Place in Chicago Illinois.
Thanks.
