H.O Scale Santa Fe freight train crossing the Missisippi River lift bridge., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photograph this past week, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.
In a scene right out of the 1960's era, My Athearn model of an EMD GP 35 roadswitcher diesel electric locomotive painted in the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad's blue and yellow color scheme used from 1960 to 1972, pulls a freight train made up mostly of 40 and 50 foot box cars across the Missisippi River lift bridge on the club layout.
