Railroad viaduct bridge with an old 1971 Norfolk & Western logo. Worth Illinois. January 2007., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photograph one winter morning, back in January of 2007.
Erected in 1979 to relieve traffic conjestion at the intersection of South Harlem Avenue and West 111th Street in southwest suburban Worth Illinois, this railroad viaduct on the Norfolk Southern Railroad ex Wabash Railroad line, was viewed with the old 1971 Norfolk & Western Railroad NW logo, many years after the 1982 merger of the Southern Railway, and the Norfolk & Western in 2007.
