Southbound Conrail light engine movement passing through Brighton Junction. Chicago Illinois. January 1988., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
Chicago winter railroading, is a fascinating subject for the rugged and very outdoor railfans carrying their cameras on location.
I took this photograph on a partly sunny and windy Saturday afternoon, way back in January of 1988.
A 3 unit set of Conrail diesel locomotives running light, are viewed heading southbound, and passing though Chicago's Brighton Junction near South Archer and Western Avenues in Chicago.
