The Munsters 1960's TV show family car. The Volo Auto Museum. Volo Illinois. June 2013.

I took this photograph during a recent June 2013 visit to the Volo Auto Museum, located in the town of Volo Illinois.

Several famous television and movie cars are on display here at the museum, from the George Barris of Hollywood collection.

One of my personal favorites in the collection, is this unique "One of a kind" custom built hot rod car from the 1960's television sit com "The Munsters".

The Munsters Tv show aired from 1964 until 1966. The cast from the show starred Fred Quinn as Herman Munster (Frankenstein) His wife Lilly played by Yvonne De Carlo (A vampire) Grandpa played by Al Lewis ( Dracula.) Butch Patrick as his son Eddie Munster ( A werewolf boy) and his neice Marylin first portrayed by Beverly Owen, and shortly after by Pat Priest.( A very plain young lady.)

I still enjoy watching Munster's re runs today, and have a favorite episode or two as well. Me and my wife Cheryl are both Munster's fans.

"Lilly! Grand Pa! Oh Goody Goody Goody!"

Thanks.
