I took this photo of the streetlights on Grand Avenue a few weeks agao. I had a long and exhausting day at work that day, but still had a litle time and some camera battery left.Another day is ending in lovely northwest suburban Elmwood Park Illinois, as I took this photo of the streetlights begining their nocturnal ritual.
Two musical lyric quotes came to mind at the time.
"When the night returns just like a friend.
When the evening comes to set Me free." -Neil Diamond.
"Heavenly shades of night are falling.
It's twilight time. "-The Platters.
Sunset and nightfall have always been enchanted for Me.
