I took this photo after work one hot summer afternoon, in July of 2007. This is the Belt Railway of Chicago underpass viaduct located on West 47th Street near South Knox Avenue. This particular stretch of West 47th Street located just north and east of Chicago Midway Airport, is a great way to avoid being stopped by the numerous and lenghty BRC transfer trains on nearby South Archer Avenue, West 55th, West 59th , West 63rd and West 67th Streets.Monday, February 18, 2008
