I took this photo after work one evening in September of 2006. The CSX industrial switching local that serves the industries on West 16th Street, was seen leaving a large industrial site at the west end of the line, just east of Central Avenue in Cicero Illinois. The normal motive power assigned to this line, is usually a single 6 axel 1970's era EMD model SD 40 -2. Today the line is being switched by a couple of slightly smaller EMD 4 axel roadswitchers.Friday, February 15, 2008
